    1. Depth: ( A minimum depth of 60mm is required for an inside mount)
    2. Width: Measure the inside width from left to right, in 3 places (top, centre and bottom of the window) and record the narrowest measurement after deducting 10mm for clearance
    3. Height: Measure the inside height from the top of window casing to top of sill in three places record the shortest measurement after deducting 10mm for clearance.

    1. Width: Measure the width including the coverage you would like on each side of the window. We recommend an overlap of at least 100mm each side for light control and privacy and record the measurement.
    2. Determine blind rail position
    3. Height: Measure height to be covered from top of the blind rail position to top of sill or lower if overlap is desired for additional light control and privacy. Please note that a protruding sill may affect the movement of the venetian blind and record the measurement.

NB: BlindsOnline takes NO deductions on outside-mount installations.

    Vertical Blinds

    Recess Or Face Fix ?

    • First please check that the blind will fit inside (recess) the window.
    • The depth of the window should be a minimum of 90mm (for 127mm blinds) and 70mm (for 90mm blinds).
    • Check for any obstructions inside the window that might affect the movement of the blind. E.g. burglar bars, handles and even windows sills.
