    Get a Quote

    The fastest and most efficient way to get a quote (and purchasing) is on the website by going to Products, selecting the colour and entering the dimensions and other details. The website system will give you an instant quote.

    However, should you want us to give you a manual quote, please download the quote request form, fill in the details and email it to us at info@blindsonline.co.za. Please note that it can take approximately 2 – 3 working days for your manual quote to be sent.

    What types of blinds are available and how are they different?

    Blinds Online offers the following type of blinds which are suitable for all window types:

    – Aluminium Venetian Blinds in both 25mm and 50mm
    – Plaswood Venetian Blinds in 50mm
    – Wood Venetian Blinds in 50mm
    – Roller Blinds
    – Bamboo Blinds
    – Vertical Blinds in 127mm
    – Outdoor Blinds
    – Printed Blinds

    Each type of blind will allow varying quantities of light into the room and are suitable for all types of windows.
    Blinds made from bamboo, fabric and wood should not be placed in areas of high moisture

    What is the difference between a Recess (inside) mount and Face (outside) mount?

    A recess mount is when the blind shutter fits inside the window opening. Mounting as a recess mount generally has a cleaner, neater look.

    A face mount is when the blind is mounted above and around the window frame. Face mounting is normally used when there is not enough space to mount the blind inside the window opening. Face mounting is also a good solution for sliding doors.

    Will the colour of the blind ordered match the colour on the site?

    We do our best to ensure that the colours available for blinds displayed on our site are accurate, the actual colour may vary due to slight colour differences and textures that might not display correctly on your computer screen.

    To provide you with a high level of comfort, feel free to request a sample of the colour you have chosen before you order your blind. The sample you receive may vary slightly to the actual colour of the blind received due to differences in manufacturer’s dye lots. It is best to order all your blinds in one order as there may be slight variations in colours between different dye lots.

    Does your site show what fabric products will look like with light coming through?

    Photos of our samples are not taken with any light behind the fabric. Should you wish to see how lighting will effect the fabric chosen you should request a sample of the fabric from us

    Do you send out any catalogues or brochures?

    No we do not as all the information you require about our products is available on our site. This includes measuring and installation instructions.

    Can I use your blinds in coastal areas?

    Yes, all our blinds use aluminium rails instead of steel to ensure that no rust will occur, especially in coastal areas.

    Do you supply installation screws and wall plugs?

    Yes, each bracket is supplied with a screw and wall plug.

    Are your products new? Do you sell any secondhand products?

    We only sell new products which are custom made to your specifications and delivered directly to you.

    What if I make a mistake on my measurements?

    If you are worried about measuring correctly, Blinds Online has the answer with our RightFit Guarantee. Should you make a mistake in measuring your blinds, Blinds Online will replace the blind at NO COST to you. Please refer to Our Guarantee page for further details.

    I’m not sure about installing my own blinds. Can you help me?

    For a start you can Just follow our DIY installation guide. However if you are still uncomfortable to install the blinds yourself this can be done by your local handyman. All our blinds come with the necessary brackets to allow for really easy installation.

    How do I order on the site?

    1. On the home page choose your blind type
    2. Choose your colour
    3. Choose your mount
    4. Input the width and height measurement of the blind in millimeters. (The size you order is the size manufactured)
    5. Input the location of where the blind is going to be installed (This allows you to keep track of which windows you have ordered for)
    6. Select the number of the identical blinds you require.
    7. Click “Add to Cart”
    8. To add more blinds click “Continue Shopping” and repeat the process above
    9. Click “Proceed to checkout”
    10. Complete all your information to allow for billing and delivery.
    11. Click “Place Order”
    12. You will be redirected to the secure PayU payment gateway to make payment for your order.
    13. You will then receive an email confirmation of your order.

    How does payment work?

    All payments are made through an independent payment provider PayU (www.payu.co.za) which offers a full 3D secure payment facility also known as Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode.

    This is an authentication service that allows only the cardholder to use the card when shopping online. It also allows cardholders to enter their previously selected PIN/Password or a One Time PIN to help their bank to know it is you shopping online.
    We also offer an EFT payment option for customers who do not with to transact with a credit card online. If you would prefer to pay for your order via EFT, please use the Instant EFT option or contact us at info@blindsonline.co.za

    Is my information secure?

    Yes. We know how important it is to you as to how your information is handled. We never share your information with any third party. You can view our privacy policy here.

    We utilise PayU (www,payu.co.za) as a specialist secure payment provider for online payments

    Can I change my order after I have paid for it?

    Yes you can, so long as you notify us within 24 hours of placing your order. This can be done by contacting us by phone or email. Only once you have received a confirmation email from us of the change requested, will you know that the change to your order will be done.

    Delivery of Your Blinds

    Is delivery for free?

    For all order in excess of R1 000, your blinds will be delivered for free anywhere in South Africa.

    For orders less than R1 000 the delivery charge will be R140.00

    How soon will I get my order?

    Every blind order from Blinds Online is custom made to your exact requirement.

    For standard delivery, The lead time for manufacture is between 5 and 10 workings days. Delivery will take an additional 2 to 5 days depending on your delivery address. We will always make every effort to get your blind to you as quickly as possible.

    We also offer the Blind (ingly) Fast Delivery option for an extra fee. This option provides 1 working day manufacture time and then the 2 to 3 working days for the courier. Conditions apply, so check out the Delivery section for more information.

    Can I check my order’s status?

    Once you have received confirmation that your order has been placed, there is no need to follow up on your order. However, if you wish you can call our customer service for an update on your order.

    Once your order is complete our couriers will contact you to confirm delivery.

    What do I do if my blinds are damaged or wrong when delivered?

    We make every effort to ensure that all your blinds ordered, are delivered to your door in perfect condition as you would expect. This is achieved through extensive quality control procedures and the use of protective packaging and careful handling.
    However in the event that you have found that your blinds are damaged or incorrect when you receive them, please contact us by phone or email so we can arrange for your purchase to be rectified.

    Can I visit your showroom to view your blinds and samples?

    We are an online business and do not have a showroom which allows us to offer you our blinds at such reduced prices.

    Our website shows what all our products look like and you are able to order free samples to physically experience the colour and texture of our products

    What are your business hours?

    Our website operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
    Our customer care agents operate during normal business hours 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
